Steve Manuel | enn State wide receiver Allen Robinson knows defensive talent. As a sophomore in 2012, Robinson enjoyed a breakout season, shattering school records and winning Big Ten Receiver of the Year honors. Along the way, he faced some of the best competition the conference had to offer. And yet he might not have faced the league's top defensive back in game action last fall. That's because the league's top defensive back might just be a guy on his own team. Robinson frequently lined up against Adrian Amos in practice, and he continues to do so as the Nittany Lions conduct informal summer workouts in anticipation of preseason practice. He said that that he and Amos have been working together to make each other better. "We do it more often over the summer because we have more time to do it," Robinson said. "We've done it quite a bit this summer, just trying to continue to get each other better. "With all the work that he's put in, I definitely think that he's due for a big year. He's one of the hardest workers on the team and he's a great film studier. In my opinion, he's definitely one of the better corners in the country, and I think that will be on display this season."
