hat you see in a football recruiting class
on National Signing Day
in February is not necessarily what you're going
to get a few years down
the road.
Attrition via transfers,
injuries or academics is
inevitable in every recruiting class. With California five-star defensive
tackle Eddie Vanderdoes, it just came much
sooner than later.
After weeks of speculation regarding Vanderdoes wanting to stay
closer to home despite
signing with Notre
Dame this past February, head coach Brian
Kelly confirmed June 4
Vanderdoes decided he didn't want to leave the West Coast because of what he said were family reasons,
though no specifics were disclosed.
