Brian Kelly has said he has "no ill will" toward Brady Hoke for his comments about Notre Dame "chickening out of" the series with Michigan, but the same can't be said of Fighting Irish fans.

Hoke-y Comment
Regarding Brady Hoke's comment
about Notre Dame being "chicken,"
would you kindly remind him that
since 1948 (65 years) his mighty Michigan teams have won half a national
title, a split with Nebraska in 1997.
Our other opponents over that period won close to 60 titles, so stop
pounding your chest, Brady!
Quite frankly, playing Miami, Florida State, Louisville, Clemson, etc., is
improving Notre Dame's strength of
schedule.

Be Careful What You Wish For
It should be remembered that for-
mer Michigan coach Lloyd Carr (19952007) strongly advocated eliminating
Notre Dame from the Michigan schedule. Carr was quoted many times saying, "If they want to play us, make
them join the Big Ten."

Can ND Offense Show Some ID?
If the Irish do not vastly improve
on offense — regardless of who the
quarterback is — the problem is bigger
and more troubling than who is on the
QB depth chart. Here are the hard 2012
numbers:
• In passing efficiency, Notre Dame
ranked 74th.
• In the red zone, the Irish ranked 71st.
