multiple Power Five options. He chose
Utah, but it was not a smooth transi-

4.1 rebounds in 13 games, shooting 42.1
percent.
Mahorcic, Joiner and Clark will help
offset the losses of redshirt junior cen-
ter Manny Bates, sophomore guard Cam
Hayes and sophomore forward Jaylon
Gibson to the transfer portal. Hayes
signed with LSU, while Gibson is headed
to Winston-Salem State.
Fifth-year senior guard Thomas Allen
is also in the portal, having elected to try
to use a super senior year elsewhere.
Furthermore, All-ACC guard Dereon
Seabron, a redshirt sophomore, and ACC
All-Freshman guard Terquavion Smith
each have entered their names into the
NBA Draft while maintaining their eligi-
bility for a potential return to NC State.
Seabron has received an invite to the
NBA Draft combine, while ESPN.com's
mock draft has Smith going in the second
round. ■
