NC State redshirt junior wrestler Trent Hidlay (left, with former
World Team member James Greene) is headed to the U23 World
Championships in September in Spain. He punched his ticket by
taking first place at 86kg during the U23 U.S. World Team Trials held
in early June in Cleveland. Hidlay was the top seed and went unde-
feated in the trials to take home the winning trophy.
Three years ago, Hidlay went to the Junior World Championships
in Estonia and captured the bronze in the same weight class.
