He shares offensive coordinator duties in 2022 with quarterbacks coach Matt Weiss. U-M's offensive line won The Joe Moore Award in 2021, given annually to the top unit in all of col- lege football. Moore helped develop the offense's mentality, and the Wolverines generated 6,023 total yards, hitting a mark that was good for second-best in program history. Offensive tackle Andrew Stueber earned second- team All-America honors and was one of four start- ers to grab either first- or second-team All-Big Ten notice. Each of the five starters received a form of conference accolades. The line also allowed the few- est tackles for loss per game in the country (2.43). Moore's prior work with the tight ends in Ann Arbor was notable. He helmed a cluster of six pass catchers that combined for 119 catches, 1,611 yards and 13 touchdowns in three seasons. Moore came to U-M after coaching the previous four years at Central Michigan, where he developed a successful, high-achieving group of tight ends. In his first year with the Chippewas in 2014, he coached a trio of tight ends that accumulated 48 catches for 617 yards (12.9 yards per catch). Before CMU, Moore had a five-year stint at Louisville. He began as a graduate assistant and worked his way up to tight ends coach by his fourth year. In his two years as a full-time assis- tant, the Cardinals went 23-3 with a BCS bowl and Big East title in 2012. As a player, Moore was a member of the Okla- homa football team from 2006-07. As an offensive guard, he helped the Sooners win two Big 12 titles and advance to two BCS bowl games.
