The Honor Roll is comprised of student-ath- letes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year. The confer- ence recognized more than 5,500 student- athletes for their hard work in the classroom during the 2021–22 academic year. During the course of the year, UVA had 127 student- athletes named to ACC All-Academic teams and two (Kate Douglass/women's swimming and diving) and Nicola Lawless/rowing) were named Scholar-Athletes of the Year for their respective sport. Three Cavaliers (Owayne Owens/men's track and field, Natasha Sub- hash/women's tennis and Jake Gelof/baseball) earned national CoSIDA Academic All-America honors.
