McKeeHomesNC.com | 910-672-7296 PROUD TO SUPPORT THE NC STATE WOLFPACK Faye eville | Raleigh | Pinehurst | Wilmington QUOTING THE PACK "NC State is college football's cursed program, one capable of producing seemingly endless high- level draft picks but one with just a single season of double-digit wins and no top-10 finishes in its history. Head coach Dave Doeren has come pain- fully close, hitting nine wins in three of the last five years. The Wolfpack will take another swing at it this fall. "They were just four points from an unbeaten ACC season last year, and … are projected under- dogs in just one game. … While the offense can play things a little too conservatively at times, it does return quarterback Devin Leary, receivers Thayer Thomas and Devin Carter and a veteran line. This is as loaded and balanced a team as Do- eren has produced." — Bill Connelly, ESPN staff writer, explaining NC State's appearance on his list of teams that are capable of sustaining their recent success "We've had so many people on this team who've accomplished a lot, obviously. We had a lot of ACC champions, Katelyn [Tuohy] is a national champion [in the out- door 5,000-meter race], Hannah [Steelman] is going pro. But I still think we'd probably all say that the team national championship is the thing we're most proud of." — KELSEY CHMIEL, senior distance runner, looking back on the 2021 cross country team's national title PHOTO COURTESY NC STATE ATHLETICS
