"He's definitely a disruptive force." Now, Gary is likely soon to cash in with a big contract extension. The Packers exercised the fifth-year option on his rookie contract, so he's set to make $10.9 million in the 2023 season. The Athletic's Matt Schneidman, a Green Bay beat writer, said Gary will command a sal- ary somewhere between $23-25 million per year if he continues to play at such a high level. "He's become a complete player, not the one-dimensional outside linebacker his quarterback saw three years ago, earning himself whatever the Brinks truck will soon back up for him," Schnei- dman wrote.
