30 CAVALIER CORNER Virginia Men's Tennis celebrated the 10- year anniversary of the 2013 NCAA Cham- pionship Team April 14-16, 2023. Alumni returned to Charlottesville for an eventful weekend beginning with their on-court rec- ognition during Friday's exciting 4-1 match victory over Clemson followed by a dinner hosted by the coaches. On Saturday, alumni enjoyed participating in a doubles hit around and meeting the current team during their open practice. The VAF also hosted dinner that evening for the championship team and coaching staff at a local restaurant. Alumni supported the program by attending Senior Day during Sunday's 6-1 match victory over Georgia Tech. Coach Pedroso shared, "What an honor it was to have our 2013 NCAA Championship Team back in Charlottesville. This group of individuals broke the barrier of winning our first team national championship, which was a major step forward for our program. What's so fulfilling is to see how connected and invested they have remained in our program.
