■ Sight To Behold
When NC State football fans gather at Carter-Finley Stadium for the sold-out home
opener against Notre Dame on Sept. 9, they will be greeted by one of the largest vid-
eoboards in the country and enjoy the crystal-clear quality of a new sound system.
The view pictured is from the lucky ticket holder of seat 1 on row OO in section 23,
located at midfield on the west side of Carter-Finley Stadium about four rows down
from the concourse. The new videoboard stretches much of the length of the field
and is the latest in a series of upgrades to the stadium in recent years.
