"I would say that Penn State definitely ranks up high on my list of schools," Roy said. "They're recruiting me really hard, and the relationship I have with a lot of their coaches ranks pretty high for me." Roy also said, "Their crowd was elec- tric. Out of all the crowds I've seen, that crowd was the loudest I've ever been a part of. It was amazing." Penn State also hosted some quality offensive recruits, including quarterback Malik Washington of Archbishop Spald- ing in Severn, Md., and tight end Nate Roberts of Washington, Okla., as well as offensive line prospects Avery Gach of Franklin, Mich., and Rowan Byrne of New Rochelle, N.Y. All four players hold four-star ratings. Tight end Linkon Cure of Goodland, Kan., hasn't been ranked yet, but that's expected to change soon. Listed at 6-4, 210 pounds, Cure grabbed the attention of coaches back in the spring when he put up some impressive numbers during his track season. After releasing his mid- season film, Cure has seen his offer list rocket to 16 schools and counting. He's now one of the most important targets in the class for Penn State tight ends coach Ty Howle. "I got instant goosebumps walking out onto the field there. It was wild," Cure said. "Their crowd is incredible. The whole experience was a lot of fun." He added that Penn State was one of the schools that had made a strong im- pression on him. "Being at the game and meeting more people there, they're definitely standing out," he said. "I feel like that's a place I belong.
