Coach Elliott Avent's Wolfpack, which returns 20 players from last year's 36-21 squad, was ranked 18th by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, 19th by Perfect Game and 22nd by Baseball America. 200 Career victories for Wolfpack men's basketball coach Kevin Keatts. The seventh-year NC State mentor reached the milestone with an 82-76 win over visiting Georgia Tech on Feb. 3. The victory over the Yellow Jackets improved Keatts' record in Raleigh to 128-86. He had previously gone 72-28 in three seasons at UNC Wilmington. With his 128 Wolf - pack victories, Keatts is the fifth-winningest men's basketball coach in NC State history, trailing Everett Case (377), Norm Sloan (266), Jim Valvano (209) and Herb Sendek (191).
