Brockermeyer has the NC State sophomore listed as the nation's No. 10 wide receiver. Concepcion "lit up the ACC and did most of his damage on the intermediate part of the field but has the speed to make the explosive catch as well," Brockermeyer noted. "In his second year of college football, I'm positioning Concepcion as a top-10 re - ceiver in the country." 1 , 000 Victories at NC State for baseball coach Elliott Avent following a 5-3 win over Virginia Commonwealth on Feb. 18. Now in his 28th season with the Pack, Avent became only the fifth active coach in Division I to reach the 1,000-win plateau at one school. Heading into a three-game series against Ball State April 26-28, Avent had a 1,020-608 record at NC State and a 1,244-821 career mark, having spent eight seasons at New Mexico State prior to his arrival in Raleigh. They've had some good ones … but Grayson McCall is a dude. It's April, and I don't want to get too far ahead of myself. But if you're going to take a flier on a team, NC State is not a bad one." — Roddy Jones, ACC Network analyst No hate for Usain Bolt, but I don't think he went to the Wheaties factory." — Former NC State track and cross country champion Katelyn Tuohy (as reported by LehighValleyLive.com) during a visit to the Pennsylvania-based Granola Factory, which is set to launch a new flavor she helped develop as part of her endorse- ment deal with the company
