commitment profile Film Evaluation Strengths: Harris is a well-rounded back who doesn't have any one area that stands out among the others. He has very good speed, evidenced by running away from defenders. He also displays excellent vision on film, picking his way through traffic and keeping his feet moving to burst through the hole when it emerges. Most importantly for Michigan's pro-style offense is his toughness. He has a vicious stiff-arm, and is capable of running over the smaller players he faces. Areas Of Improvement: Since Harris runs a wing-T offense in high school, there will be an adjustment period when it comes time to learn the pro-style offense. The running back's reads will be different, and he will be approaching from a different angle. Harris' film also shows very little footage of his blocking and receiving. In order to see the field early, a running back has to be able to protect the quarterback. Adding versatility to his game with receiving ability will make him better rounded. Michigan Player Comparison: Tshimanga Biakabutuka was a three-year contributor for Michigan from 1993-95, and is perhaps best known for his 313yard effort against Ohio State in 1995. Although Harris isn't quite as big, he has a similar running style to "Touchdown Tim." — Analysis from TheWolverine.com
