"We are so excited about Chris Klein," Bottom said. "We feel that of all the local talent, Chris has the most potential to explode. He's the perfect fit for the University of Michigan." Adam Coon, wrestling: Coon is a fourtime state champion — winning at 215 pounds his first two years and 285 pounds his final two years — from nearby Fowlerville High School. Ac‑ cording to D1CollegeWrestling.net, he is the top heavyweight in the country and the nation's No. 2 overall pros‑ pect. He amassed a career record of 212‑2 at Fowlerville, impressively go‑ ing undefeated (161‑0) in his last three seasons. Beyond states, Coon is a two-time junior national champion in GrecoRoman and freestyle, and is the only wrestler to win the junior Triple Crown twice, scoring national titles in the folkstyle, freestyle and Greco-Ro‑ man styles, and he was a FILA Cadet world champion in freestyle in 2012. Coon was a dual-sport athlete at Fowlerville and earned all-state hon‑ ors in football playing the linebacker position. Despite those accolades, he chose wrestling. The Wolverines will most certainly benefit from this choice. Dom Abounader, wrestling: A threetime state champion, the Gates Mill, Ohio, native repeated in the 182-pound weight class in 2013 after posting a 13-6 win over Archbishop Moeller's Quinton Rosser and help‑ ing lead St. Edward High School to its third consecutive state title. Abounader bested Twinsburg's Michael Baker at 182 pounds in 2012, and in 2011 captured the 160-pound Division I victory with a 5-1 win. In his high school career, Abounader accumulated a 135-8 record. Abounader, who also played foot‑ ball, garnering second-team all-state honors at defensive back in his senior year, will wrestle at either 184 or 197 pounds. ❏
