Ten players would finish their careers at Michigan as starters with a handful of key reserves, and even a few transfers that were hits in McNamara, All and Charbonnet, even if they were not around for the run to a national title. Fifteen of the 26 players signed during the cycle go down as hits, and it is hard to deny the foundational players that came from it, such as Hill, Johnson, Keegan, Sainristil, Smith and Turner, each of whom made at least 23 starts in a Michigan uniform. Five players were selected in the first two rounds of the draft in Smith and Hill in the first round and Ojabo, Sainristil and Turner coming off the board in the second round of their respective draft classes. Ojabo would have been a first-round pick had he not suffered a torn Achilles tendon during his pro day workout prior to the 2023 NFL Draft. This was a great mixture of Harbaugh finding "his guys" while also putting together a top-10 class. If there is any disappointment, it would be that the careers of McNamara and All ended on a sour note given their roles in turning things around in 2021. Overall, it is hard to argue where this class stands in Michigan history.
