view to become North-
ern Illinois' head football
coach was scheduled on
the Huskies' campus, but
Doeren, who was serving
as Wisconsin's defensive
coordinator at the time, had a slight is-
sue — a snowstorm that had dropped
about a foot of powder on Madison amid
blizzard-like wind conditions.
