C O M A fter two seasons of stringent weight management to make and maintain 157 pounds, Penn State's NCAA champion wres- tler Levi Haines was more than ready to get bigger and stronger and live more comfortably. A one-weight jump to 165 wouldn't work because NCAA runner-up Mitch- ell Mesenbrink wasn't overly thrilled about cutting to 157 as a redshirt sopho- more. Since four-time NCAA champ Carter Starocci was moving to 184, that left Haines and 174 as a perfect match. And here we are, eight months and 17 pounds later, with Haines as one happy dude.
