26 THE WOLVERINE ❱ JANUARY 2025 ❱ MICHIGAN FOOTBALL season with plenty of Wolver- ines represented. The headlin- ing honor went to junior kicker Dominic Zvada, who won the l e a g u e 's B a k k e n -A n d e rs e n Kicker of the Year award. Zvada, who was a first-team All-Big Ten selection by both the coaches and media, finished the regular season 17 of 18 on field goal attempts and 7 of 7 on attempts from 50-plus yards, including a 54-yarder in the 13- 10 upset win over the second- ranked Ohio State Buckeyes Nov. 30. Zvada also made 25 of his 26 extra point attempts on the year after transferring in from Ar- kansas State. "He's the man," Michigan coach Sherrone Moore said after the victory over the Buckeyes. "He's just a great kicker. Great dude. He's been a great addition to the team. I hope I can keep him for another year. He might go to the NFL, but I'm going to try and keep him. He's really good." Zvada joins Jake Moody as the Michigan kickers to bring home the award after Moody did it twice in 2021-22. However, Zvada was not named a finalist for the Lou Groza Award like his predecessor. He will make a run at the award next season, announcing a return to Ann Arbor Dec. 10, which pleased his head coach. "He's an elite, elite player at the kick- ing position," Moore said. "He should have won the Groza, but he wasn't even a finalist. He'll be looking out for that one next year." In the rest of the awards, junior de- fensive tackle Mason Graham was the lone Wolverine position player to take home first-team All-Big Ten honors from both the coaches and media. He finished the season with 45 tackles, 7 of which came for a loss and 3.5 sacks. "He's an absolute animal," Moore said of Graham after the win at Ohio State but prior to his Dec. 14 declaration that he was headed to the NFL. "I wish I could convince him to stay another year, but I know that's not going to hap- pen. He's an incredible kid, incredible player, a force, and gives you everything he has on every single play he's in the game. He's going to be an outstanding pro. He's unbelievable. I love him, and I couldn't be more proud of him." Graham's defensive linemates — junior tackle Kenneth Grant (32 tackles including 6.5 for loss and 3 sacks) and senior edge Jo- saiah Stewart (33 tackles with a team-high 13 for loss and 8.5 sacks) — were named second-team All-Big Ten performers by the coaches and media. Classmate and cornerback Will Johnson (14 tack- les and 2 interceptions returned for touchdowns) also earned a second-team nod despite miss- ing six games due to injury this season. On offense, junior tight end Colston Loveland (56 catches for 582 yards and 5 touchdowns, all team highs) was a second- team All-Big Ten pick, losing out to Penn State's Tyler Warren for first-team honors. Gradu- ate running back Kalel Mull- ings (948 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns) and graduate of- fensive guard Josh Priebe made third-team All-Big Ten by the media. Graduate long snapper William Wagner was a first- team All-Big Ten performer on special teams, joining Zvada. The Wolverines were shut out of the individual national awards with Zvada's snub and Graham losing out to Texas of- fensive lineman Kelvin Banks Jr. for the Outland Trophy. However, both Graham (first team) and Johnson (second team) were named All-Americans, respectively, by both the Walter Camp Football Foun- dation and American Football Coaches Association. Graham was also named to the Associated Press' first team, while Johnson was a third-team selection. The AP also recognized Zvada as a sec- ond-team All-American and Grant was named a third-team AP All-American. — Anthony Broome ❱ U-M Postseason Award Winners • Junior K Dominic Zvada — All-Big Ten first team, Big Ten Kicker of the Year, All-America second team (AP) • Junior DL Mason Graham — All-Big Ten first team, All-America first team (Walter Camp, AFCA, AP) • Graduate LS William Wagner — All-Big Ten first team • Junior CB Will Johnson — All-Big Ten second team, All-America second team (Walter Camp, AFCA) and third team (AP) • Junior DL Kenneth Grant — All-Big Ten second team, All-America third team (AP) • Junior TE Colston Loveland — All-Big Ten second team • Senior DE Josaiah Stewart — All-Big Ten second team • Graduate RB Kalel Mullings — All-Big Ten third team • Graduate OL Josh Priebe — All-Big Ten third team • Senior RB Donovan Edwards — All-Big Ten honorable mention • Senior OL Giovanni El-Hadi — All-Big Ten honorable mention • Graduate OL Myles Hinton — All-Big Ten honorable mention • Junior WR Semaj Morgan — All-Big Ten honorable mention (returner) • Junior DE Derrick Moore — All-Big Ten honorable mention • Junior LB Ernest Hausmann — All-Big Ten honorable mention • Junior DB Zeke Berry — All-Big Ten honorable mention Junior defensive tackle Mason Graham, who earned first-team All- America and All-Big Ten honors, announced his intention to enter the 2025 NFL Draft.
