42 ■ THE WOLFPACKER WHERE ARE THEY NOW? BY TIM PEELER s the mother of two young boys just starting their athletic journeys, former NC State softball pitcher Emily Weiman Siebers figures her life has come full circle since she first stepped foot on the Raleigh campus some 13 years ago. What could be more fitting for the 2013 ACC Pitcher of the Year, who made her living in the circle during both her record-smashing Wolfpack and profes- sional softball careers? Siebers pitched some as a freshman, but she really found the sweet spot of her strike zone after Navas was let go and Shawn Rychcik took over. She pitched nearly every inning of the 2013 season, when the Wolfpack fin- FUTURE FOCUSED A Record-Setting Career At NC State Prepared Emily Weiman Siebers For Life After Athletics A Siebers stepped away from professional softball several years ago and now works for a medical equipment manufacturing company.
