Michigan is off to a good start with the 6-4, 275-pound lineman, with Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Notre Dame and South Carolina also in the mix. Penn State is also involved with two notable in-state prospects, including top-100 player Tyler Merrill from Cum- berland Valley in Mechanicsburg. The second-ranked player in Pennsylvania behind Brown and the No. 91 player overall, Merrill has been to State College 10 times, but he's also planning to visit Clemson and Notre Dame before the February dead period. The Nittany Li- ons will be contenders, but he's clearly keeping his options open.
