TRACKING THE PACK MARCH/APRIL 2025 ■ 15 PACK PERFORMERS Chloe Negrete, Gymnastics A graduate student from Frisco, Texas, Negrete received ACC Specialist of the Week honors for the second time this sea- son after posting scores of 9.825 on vault, 9.925 on floor exercise and 9.900 on balance beam in NC State's 196.350-195.925 victory over North Carolina on Jan. 24 in Chapel Hill. Negrete had previously been honored by the conference after scoring bet- ter than 9.800 in the same three events at the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad Meet Jan. 10 in Oklahoma City. Vince Robinson, Wrestling Robinson is NC State's highest-ranked wrestler heading into the final weeks of the regular season, showing up third at 125 pounds in InterMat's polling. The red- shirt freshman from Chicago improved his record to 16-1 on the season with a 10-4 victory over North Carolina's 13th-ranked Spencer Moore — a win that clinched NC State's 19-16 dual meet triumph over the host Tar Heels on Jan. 31. Prior to the Pack's Feb. 14 matchup at Reynolds Coliseum against 15th-ranked Stan- ford, Robinson was 7-0 in dual meet action, 2-0 against ACC opponents and 6-0 versus ranked foes this season (his loss was a medical forfeit after he was injured in the previous match). Elisabeth Rockefeller, Women's Swimming and Diving Rockefeller was named Female Diver of the Week by the ACC after setting a personal best in the 3-meter event with a score of 321.80 at the Eddie Reese Showdown Jan. 24-25 in Austin, Texas. Rockefeller, a sopho- more from Fairfax Station, Va., placed fifth at the meet, which also featured Arizona State, Virginia and host Texas. The score earned her a qualifying spot at the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships in March. Rockefeller had previously been named the ACC's Diver of the Week after placing first in the 1- and 3-meter events in NC State's dual meet victory over host Georgia in November. Luca Staeheli, Men's Tennis Staeheli, a senior from Wollerau, Swit- zerland, was named ACC Player of the Week and shared Doubles Team of the Week hon- ors with freshman partner Jules Leroux after going undefeated in January matches against Harvard, LSU and Mississippi State. Ranked 97th nationally, Staeheli defeated all three of his singles op- ponents in straight sets, while he and Leroux went 3-0 in their doubles matches, including a 6-3 victory over a 20th-ranked team from Mississippi State.
