4 THE WOLVERINE ❱ MARCH 2025 ON U-M'S 2025 FOOTBALL RECRUITING CLASS U-M is going back to its championship formula of trench warfare and bully ball. The Eagles and Chiefs showed that the best lines always win in January and February. This is an elite offensive line class with QB1 for Michigan. U-M is in on some great offensive line- men in 2026. Would love to see them stack elite line classes back to back. Malakai Lee, Leo Delaney, etc. Would love to see them go big-game hunting for defensive linemen in 2026. They have some nice edge pieces from 2024. GoBlue1913 A silent commit [Ty Haywood] for 3 months that actually stuck? Wild. SamL17 I either didn't realize or forgot that Shamari Earls was that fast. A 6-foot-2 corner with 10.6 speed is insane. Know he's very highly ranked as it is and that there's more to it than just those attributes, but how is he not further up the list? Blue Meridian Yep. Earls should be in the five-star convo. Missed his senior season, unfortunately. EJ Holland Bryce Underwood is elite, yes. Ready to start Day 1 … ? The weight on this kid's shoulders is going to be enormous. John Doe I love how many states [14] we are getting kids from. Pump it up Do we have anything else left on the bone or are we done? Samsneed Michigan could add a specialist to the class at some point. EJ Holland Man, this WR corps can be exactly what we need. The room is still missing speed in the worst way, but at least we've got skill-set diversity now. There's size, physicality, athleticism, YAC and more potential overall. Michigan probably won't really land 5-star WRs with this offense, but if we can use hauls like this to complement the run game, it'll be all we need. Owen P. OHIO'S TITLE … … will always be listed with an asterisk. * Lost to Michigan. Number_Two_Fan Michigan 13 National Champs 10 Utred Now that Michigan has officially won back-to- back Nattys, what are the chances of a 3-peat? OSU may have the trophy but everyone walking God's green earth knows it belongs to Michigan. So, what are the chances for a 3-peat? Get some fair-to-middlin' QB play and I'd say pretty good. miktimrob To be the champs, you've gotta beat the champs … Ope! $20 million whatever payroll, 2 losses, losing to this Michigan team at home. They've got the Natty, but it does feel a little different. Wrestcm2 1,877 days since Ohio State beat Michigan … and counting. socal4mich I'm not in the group saying it needs an asterisk or isn't legitimate. Those are sour grapes stances if you ask me. What I find absolutely hilarious and the card I will play if any Buckeye gets chesty with me: You people hated, and I mean hated, Ryan Day six weeks ago, yet now he's a savior. That's straight comedy to me. The_MDA I wasn't sure how I would feel since this is the first time that Ohio wins a natty in a year that they lost to us (right?) — but it makes our win at the Horseshoe this year all the sweeter. I find I can't stop grinning whenever I think: "We Did That!" Big_Houseman ❱ Be Heard! Send your letters to: Wolverine Letters P.O.
