High prospect Bryce Un- derwood, who flipped from LSU to Mich- igan late in the cycle. Marsh was active in helping Michigan recruit Underwood. Now, the two have an opportunity to be a dynamic duo in The Big House. "I think it was a great pickup for us," he said. "It's go time. We have the pieces. There are no excuses. We're going to get to work. I'm really excited to play with him. I've never had that type of talent at quarterback. Bryce is special." Marsh, the No. 22 wide receiver and No. 156 prospect nationally, enrolled early at Michigan and is expected to get signifi- cant playing time as a true freshman. With Underwood and Marsh on the roster and a new coordinator in Chip Lindsey leading the way, Michigan's of- fense could look very different in the near future. "I really think that the Michigan of- fense had some missing pieces," Marsh said. "I think we can keep the traditional run aspect, but now, we can throw the ball a little bit more. I feel like I'll be ready to play when the time comes. Enrolling early is going to benefit me tremendously. I can get acclimated and play early." While Marsh is excited about his up- coming freshman season, he also has lofty goals for what he hopes is a tremendous career in Ann Arbor. "I want to bring more national cham- pionships to Michigan," Marsh said. "We have to beat the team down South in red a few more times. I would love to win a Biletnikoff. I want to have three 1,000- yard seasons. Those are some big goals for me." ❑ STATISTICS Year Rec. Yds. THEY SAID IT On3 director of scou ng and rankings Charles Power: "What s cks out to me first is that Andrew has really strong hands. He's outstand- ing at finishing through contact, plays bigger than his size, and projects as just a really reliable target. He'll be playing in the Big Ten against physical corners, guys who are going to get up on you and contest catches, and he projects really well in that style of football. He has some of the bigger hands at the posi on na onally at 10-1/4 inches. He tested as a good athlete. … He's a 6-foot-4 high jumper, so he has everything you want in terms of the profile. Seeing him in person mul ple mes, he's made some highlight grabs. He's a guy who can really go up and get it, especially for a receiver who's under 6-foot-1. He plays bigger than his size." While he dropped in the final recrui ng rankings, he comes in as one of the more highly touted pass catchers in recent memory. He also offers versa lity, with experi- ence playing in the slot and on the outside. Marsh is extremely physical and is a willing blocker. He's also a fantas c in-the-air pass catcher, displaying strong hands and excellent body control. Marsh comes down with it way more o en than not on 50-50 balls. While he doesn't have verified mes, he does a great job of gaining yards a er the catch and will literally run defenders over. He plays bigger than his size, which is already adequate.
