CB MIKE SAINRISTIL WASHINGTON COMMANDERS Sainristil capped off a strong rookie season with an outstanding playoff showing, high- lighted by his 2-interception night in a win over top-seeded Detroit. Sainristil tallied 93 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery and 2 picks in the regular season. ESPN's Ben Solak tabbed the 5-foot-10, 182-pound versatile DB as one of the 20 most important second-year NFL defenders in 2025. ❏ Quinn Hughes • NHL The Vancouver Canucks standout was named the No. 2 defenseman in the league by the NHL Network. In 2024-25, the 5-foot-10, 180-pounder tallied 16 goals and 60 assists. Fellow former Wolverine Zach Werenski of the Columbus Blue Jackets checked in No. 3. Makari Paige • NFL The undrafted free agent recorded a diving interception on a pass from New York Jets quarterback Adrian Martinez in the New York Giants' 31-12 preseason victory Aug. 16. Paige added 1 tackle. Jake Moody • NFL The third-year professional drilled a 59-yard, walk-off game-winning field goal as time expired to put San Francisco on top of Las Vegas 22-19 in an preseason game Aug. 16. Moody made 5 of 6 field goal attempts in the win, including three from 44-plus yards.
