30 THE WOLVERINE ❱ SEPTEMBER 2025 QUARTERBACK No. Player Ht. Wt. Cl./Elig. Remaining 19 Bryce Underwood 6-4 228 Fr./4 7 Mikey Keene 5-11 200 Gr./1 or 2 Jadyn Davis 6-1 207 So./4 Note: Underwood hasn't been named the starter, but all signs point to him being the first man taking snaps in the opener. Keene, meanwhile, has been limited in practice but progressing, while Davis has taken some of the backup reps. Graduate Jake Garcia — an East Carolina transfer who joined the team this summer — also is in the mix. RUNNING BACK No. Player Ht. Wt. Cl./Elig. Remaining 22 Justice Haynes 5-11 210 Jr./2 or 23 Jordan Marshall 5-11 216 So./4 Note: Haynes and Marshall are "1A and 1B," but who's the former and the latter remains to be seen. Both will get a lot of carries in games. The third running back job is up for grabs, with junior Bryson Kuzdzal and sophomore Micah Ka'apana being two of the contenders. WIDE RECEIVER No. Player Ht. Wt. Cl./Elig. Remaining 3 Fredrick Moore 6-1 191 Jr./2 81 Peyton O'Leary 6-3 208 Gr./1 Note: True freshmen Jamar Browder and Andrew Marsh could also factor into the rotation at wide receiver, but it's hard not to give vet- erans such as Moore and O'Leary the nod in the two-deep. Moore has bulked up, gaining 10 pounds, and has more confidence this season. WIDE RECEIVER No. Player Ht. Wt. Cl./Elig. Remaining 1 Donaven McCulley 6-5 215 Gr./1 10 Kendrick Bell 6-2 205 Jr./3 Note: McCulley has been Michigan's clear-cut top target at the wide receiver position this offseason, after transferring in from Indiana. Bell missed spring ball with injury but is healthy, and he quietly logged the third-most wideout snaps on the team in 2024. SLOT RECEIVER No. Player Ht. Wt. Cl./Elig. Remaining 0 Semaj Morgan 5-10 174 Jr./2 9 Channing Goodwin 6-1 197 So./4 or 5 Anthony Simpson 5-11 186 Gr./1 Note: Goodwin has moved around between outside and the slot, and he'll play a role somewhere. Morgan and Simpson, meanwhile, are true slots and should both play. TIGHT END No. Player Ht. Wt. Cl./Elig. Remaining 17 Marlin Klein 6-6 250 Sr./2 83 Zack Marshall 6-4 245 Jr./3 Note: Sophomore Hogan Hansen, who showed flashes last season, entered fall camp injured, and while he's expected to return early in the year, it may not be in time for the opener. Marshall has experience, but mostly on special teams, and junior Deakon Tonielli is a name to watch, as well. FULLBACK/H-BACK No. Player Ht. Wt. Cl./Elig. Remaining 44 Max Bredeson 6-2 250 Gr./1 42 Jalen Hoffman 6-3 245 Jr./3 Note: Hoffman has played fullback/H-back and also started taking more snaps as a traditional tight end last season. He should have a role at both positions this year, and it goes without saying that Bredeson's will be significant, too. LEFT TACKLE No. Player Ht. Wt. Cl./Elig. Remaining 71 Evan Link 6-6 324 Jr./3 77 Blake Frazier 6-6 295 So./4 Note: Link was in a battle at left tackle with freshman Andrew Baba- lola but the rookie went down with an apparent season-ending knee injury in mid-August. Sophomore Blake Frazier is taking backup reps at left and right tackle. LEFT GUARD No. Player Ht. Wt. Cl./Elig. Remaining 58 Giovanni El-Hadi 6-5 315 Gr./1 70 Brady Norton 6-4 312 Jr./3 Note: El-Hadi is "cemented" as a starter, head coach Sherrone Moore said Aug. 12, while Norton is getting reps at both center and guard in camp. CENTER No. Player Ht. Wt. Cl./Elig. Remaining 51 Greg Crippen 6-4 309 Gr./1 53 Jake Guarnera 6-4 311 So./4 Note: Crippen is comfortably a starter, though he's not quite the lock El-Hadi is at left guard. Guarnera is also competing for the right guard job. RIGHT GUARD No. Player Ht. Wt. Cl./Elig. Remaining 55 Nathan Efobi 6-3 312 Jr./3 78 Lawrence Hattar 6-5 335 Gr./1 Note: Efobi came into camp on top of the right guard competition, but he's being pushed by Hattar, Guarnera and Norton. RIGHT TACKLE No. Player Ht. Wt. Cl./Elig. Remaining 54 Andrew Sprague 6-8 315 So./4 77 Blake Frazier 6-6 295 So./4 or 79 Ty Haywood 6-5 316 Fr./4 Note: Sprague started in the ReliaQuest Bowl win over Alabama and has remained the top guy at right tackle throughout the offseason. Frazier has been a swing tackle during fall camp, while Haywood is competing as a summer enrollee. The Wolverine's 2025 Projected Depth Chart — Offense WANT WEEKLY DEPTH CHARTS?
