APRIL 2026 ❱ THE WOLVERINE 7 ❱ U-M SENDS SENIORS OUT WITH A CELEBRATION Michigan men's basketball honored its se- niors after a 90-80 win over Michigan State on March 8 in a celebration of the student managers, walk-ons and scholarship play- ers who have made the program what it has been over the last several years. Players (left to right) Nimari Burnett, Will Tschetter, Roddy Gayle Jr., Yaxel Lendeborg and Charlie May were honored after the win, with Tschetter getting the microphone after spending all five of his collegiate seasons in Ann Arbor. "All of us have to thank all of our teammates that we've played with, both here at Michigan and the ones who got us to be at this point," Tschetter said. "More thank-you's are in order for our senior managers. Those guys are the definition of Michigan Men. They come in ev- ery day and do all the stuff behind the scenes. We do not give them enough credit. Every- thing that you do does not go unnoticed. "Everyone across Michigan, the professors, my friends that I've met outside of basketball and all the amazing people and alumni that come with this block M is truly special. It's forever. And that's something that you don't get everywhere. That means a lot to me. "Shoutout to this coaching staff for coming in here and making stuff happen. It is a plea- sure to be with you guys every day. We enjoy it and thank you to you guys. You are truly what makes this thing run. "And thank you, fans. Playing in front of you guys has been something that we'll never for- get for our entire lives. You guys are amazing. Maize Rage, you guys are amazing. We love you guys.
