Moments earlier, he'd been asked how the Nittany Lions' spring practice ses- sions were going and whether he'd seen leadership start to emerge. At the time, the team was dealing with the fallout from a series of injuries to key players, obscuring the picture of what it might look like in the fall. Still, Campbell didn't hesitate. "The one thing we're really blessed with on this year's team is that we have so many seniors and so many veterans who've played so much football," he said.
