144 ■ THE WOLVERINE 2026 FOOTBALL PREVIEW Andrel Anthony WR 26 C- Anthony will be remembered for his 6-catch, 155-yard and 2-touch- down performance at Michigan State in 2021, but he totaled only 19 receptions in two seasons with the Wolverines before transferring to Oklahoma. Anthony spent two years with the Sooners, then transferred to Duke in 2025, hauling in 26 catches for 246 yards and 5 touchdowns. Raheem Anderson OL 18 D The 6-foot-3, 318-pounder saw action in 18 outings over four seasons and transferred to Western Michigan for his final collegiate season in 2025. Kechaun Bennett EDGE 28 D- Played in 28 career clashes, totaling 7 tackles. Bennett transferred to UCLA for the 2025 season, racking up 25 tackles and a sack. Rayshaun Benny DT 54 B The Detroit native suited up for 54 contests with 15 starts during his U-M career, including 13 opening assignments during the 2025 season, where he totaled 35 tackles, 3 for loss, 1.5 sacks, 2 passes defended and a fumble recovery. He earned third-team All-Big Ten honors from the coaches and media in 2025. The Baltimore Ravens selected him in the seventh round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Tristan Bounds OL 7 D- Appeared in just seven games in four seasons and transferred to Arizona in 2025, appearing in 10 games. He will play his final collegiate season in 2026. Junior Colson LB 43 A From Haiti to Nashville to Ann Arbor and now Los Angeles, the two-time second-team All-Big Ten selection became the No. 69 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft by the Chargers. Colson lived up to his billing as an elite recruit, leading the Wolverines in tackles in the 2022-23 seasons (101 in 2022 and 95 in 2023). Greg Crippen OL 40 B Crippen appeared in 40 career games and made 21 starts at center, all coming over the last two seasons. He earned honorable mention All-Big Ten recognition from the media for his performance in 2025. Cristian Dixon WR 6 F Transferred to Central Missouri in 2025 following three seasons of being buried on the Wolverines' depth chart, with only six appearances. Tommy Doman P 31 B- Appeared in 31 games in four seasons and started at punter in 2023-24 before transferring to Florida for his fifth season in 2025. He earned All- Big Ten recognition in 2024 (third team, coaches; honorable mention, media) and was named to PFF's 2025 All-SEC Team. Tavierre Dunlap RB 33 C Rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries in 33 games played at U-M and spent the final year of his career at Eastern Michigan, ac- cumulating 428 yards and 5 touchdowns. Donovan Edwards RB 50 B+ Edwards had a pair of long touchdown runs in two of the biggest games in program history — 75 and 85 yards in a 45-23 win over Ohio State in 2022, and 41 and 46 yards in a 34-13 victory over Washington in the 2023 national championship game. Appeared in 50 career games with 13 starts in his career and compiled 2,251 rushing yards and 19 touch- downs, along with 131 yards passing and 2 touchdowns and 86 catches for 797 yards and 4 touchdowns. Giovanni El-Hadi OL 51 B Voted a captain by teammates in 2025, El-Hadi appeared in 51 games with 23 starts during his career. He made three starts as a sophomore in 2022 before starting 22 games between the 2024 and 2025 seasons. El-Hadi was a two-time All-Big Ten selection (third team, coaches, 2025; honorable mention, coaches, 2024, media, 2024-25). Dominick Giudice OL 18 C Switched from defensive line to offensive line in 2023 and appeared in 18 games before transferring to Missouri in 2025, where he appeared in 10 games with five starts at center during the 2024 season. TJ Guy EDGE 48 B- Voted an alternate captain by his teammates in 2025, Guy appeared in 48 games with eight starts during his time in Ann Arbor. He recorded 66 total tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, 10 sacks and an interception over five years. Louis Hansen TE 3 F Played in three games from 2021-22 at Michigan before transferring to UConn. He grabbed 46 passes for 463 yards and 4 touchdowns in three years in Storrs. Jaydon Hood LB 26 D+ Suited up for 26 games with 13 appearances at linebacker in five seasons but did not see game action in 2025. Hood transferred to Georgia State for the 2026 campaign. Ike Iwunnah DT 19 C- The late-blooming contributor did not see game action in 2021-23 before making 19 appearances over his final two seasons, recording 10 total tackles as a reserve. Ja'Den McBurrows CB 19 C- McBurrows appeared in 19 games in four seasons at Michigan while working through various injuries. He transferred to Appalachian State in 2025 and will return for the 2026 season. J.J. McCarthy QB 40 A+ Finished his career with a 27-1 record as Michigan's starting quarterback before becoming tied as the Wolverines' highest-drafted signal-caller in history (Forest Evashevski, 1941), going No. 10 overall to the Minnesota Vikings in 2024. In 2023, McCarthy was named first-team All-Big Ten and became U-M's first-ever winner of the Griese-Brees Big Ten Quarterback of the Year award, completing 72.2 percent of his passes for 2,991 yards and 22 touchdowns. He ranks fourth in program history with 482 career completions and sixth with 6,226 passing yards. Tyler McLaurin Edge 18 D+ Appeared in 18 games during his collegiate career before transitioning into a coaching internship at U-M. Rod Moore S 40 A- The Clayton, Ohio, native and two-time captain "called game" against Ohio State in 2023, notching an interception with 25 seconds to go that sealed a 30-24 victory. The 2023 third-team All-Big Ten standout has started 28 of the 40 games he has played in to date. He missed the 2024 season after suffering a torn ACL in spring camp and played in three games in 2025. Moore returns to the program for a sixth season in 2026. George Rooks DT 9 D Appeared in 46 games over five seasons at Michigan, Boston College and Syracuse with 72 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, a forced fumble, fumble recovery and pass defended.
