Buoyed by the NCAA-title- winning women's cross country team and five other squads that finished in their re- spective top 10s, the Wolfpack came in 22nd in the all-sports competition with 860 points for the 2025-26 athletic year. NC State finished sixth among ACC teams (with Notre Dame included). Texas won the competition with 1,322 points. 4 Power Four schools whose current head football coach is also their all-time win- ningest coach. With 95 wins in 13 seasons at NC State, Dave Doeren is one of those coaches. The others are Iowa's Kirk Fe- rentz (209 wins), Clemson's Dabo Swinney (187) and Rutgers' Greg Schiano (99). 1 JAYDEN "DUKE" SCOTT'S JAYDEN "DUKE" SCOTT'S jersey number for the 2026 season. The junior running back, who previ- ously wore No. 4, will don the Wolfpack's No. 1 jersey, which goes to a player who has im- pressed the coaching staff with his work habits and leadership.
