8 ■ THE WOLFPACKER ■ WOLFPACK CLUB NEWS Where are you from? I was born in St. Louis, and then my family moved to New Jersey, where I went to middle school and high school. Where did you go to school? I went to NC State and graduated with a degree in parks, recreation and tourism management from the College of Natural Resources. What are your current responsibili- ties at the Wolfpack Club? I oversee the sales and marketing efforts for the eight rev- enue-generating sports, which are football, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, wrestling, gymnastics, baseball and softball. I have a sales and service team that reports to me on the ticketing side. I've have the dig- ital strategy unit, which is responsible for the website, social media and our digital ad space. I also have the data analytics team and our creative content teams. What did you do before joining the Wolfpack Club? Most of my career has been in professional sports. I spent the better part of 15 years in baseball at various levels, both major league and minor league. In the past 10 years before coming to NC State, I was with the Durham Bulls in a couple of different roles. What's your favorite part about working at the Wolf- pack Club? The interactions with our fans and with our donors. They have stories for days, and it's even more amplified here at the college level because of the passion for college athletics that folks have. What are your hobbies? My family, we're big travelers. We love to get out and travel to see the country and the world. We'll go just about anywhere and go on a hike. What's your favorite TV show? "Parks and Recreation." What's your favorite movie? "Back to the Future." What's your favorite musical artist? Dave Matthews Band. I have seen them or Dave Matthews by himself 52 times in my life. What's your favorite restaurant? The Angus Barn. That's where my wife and I had our wedding reception. What's your favorite NC State mem- ory? My sophomore year here at NC State in 2003, I was a stu- dent athletic trainer with football. We had a road trip to Ohio State that season with Philip Rivers as our quarterback, and we took them to triple overtime in their place. The Horseshoe was silent at the end of the fourth quarter going into overtime. Their crowd was stunned. It was one of those really cool mo- ments. Even though we lost the game, you walked away think- ing, this is the fun stuff.
