High defensive end Matt Dickerson made the long trip to South Bend
Aug. 1, and once he stepped on campus the talented three-star prospect
felt at home.
The 6-5, 275-pound end didn't go
into the visit expecting to commit to
the Irish, but that's exactly what took
place Aug. 3.
"I was really impressed with everything. This place is incredible,"
Dickerson told BlueandGold.com. "I
thought about things and just realized
that this is the best place for me.
"When I got to the school and
started looking around, I felt that it
was like being back in California — I
got some good vibes. It's got the football, the academics and the tradition
