Yeargin III committed to Notre Dame
Aug. 2, ending his recruitment.
The 6-4, 229-pound recruit reached
out to Irish running backs coach Tony
Alford and let him know that he
wanted to become the 16th member of
Notre Dame's 2014 class.
"I was just ready to end things, and
I knew that I wanted to be at Notre
Dame," Yeargin told BlueandGold.
com."I've known for a while that this
is where I wanted to go, but I just
wasn't ready to announce anything.
I'm really glad to get this process behind me and focus on football and
academics.
"You can't pass up a perfect opportunity to Notre Dame. Life's too short.
I'm so excited to be part of the family."
Alford and Yeargin have developed
an extremely strong relationship over
the past few years, and the talented
Sunshine State prospect said that it
played a major role in his decision.
