similar type off-site program for train‑ ing camp at the University of Cincin‑ nati and it played a huge role in the success of our team." Shiloh Park Retreat and Confer‑ ence Center is a 65-acre, year-round facility operated by the Northeast‑ ern Indiana District Church of the Nazarene. Among its offerings are a 16,000-square-foot multipurpose/ recreational building, four conference rooms, food service, and a host of rec‑ reational opportunities from kayaking and fishing to zip line and climbing walls. Oh yeah, and football fields. "We've been looking for a couple years," Kelly said of an off-campus training ground that he hopes the team can train at annually. "It was one of the camps we visited a couple years ago. We didn't feel like the fields were in a position where I could take the team there and practice them without con‑ cern for safety. "We looked at a number of different sites … they've done everything we've asked them to do to accommodate us." After returning to the Notre Dame campus Aug. 9, Kelly expressed his pleasure with the trip. "We wanted the focus to be on them‑ selves," he said.
