temple game notes By Dan Murphy Offense Comes In Chunks For Irish Notre Dame's offense may not have done quite enough to leave Ann Arbor with a victory Saturday or appease its head coach, but the Irish continue to show improvements when it comes to breaking off relatively large chunks of yards. Senior quarterback Tommy Rees completed 29 throws against the Michigan defense and five of them went for at least 20 yards. Rees, who finished the game with 314 total passing yards and two scores to go along with a pair of interceptions, connected with senior TJ Jones on a 23-yard pitch-and-catch for his longest throw of the game.
