from Clearwater (Fla.) Central Catholic, while Jackson, a 6-4, 220 pounder, stars at Woodgrove High in Purcellville, Va. Though there is a great deal of potential in Brown, many believe Jackson could be the steal of the in-state class for the Cavaliers. His size and speed make him a perfect candidate to play a little defensive end in addition to his linebacker duties. That versatility gives Tenuta a chess piece that he can move around as he sees fit in an effort to create mismatches on the edges. Brown and Jackson have received little recognition nationally and are both listed as two-star prospects by Rivals.com. The other two members of UVa's 2014 class are players that provide a great deal of versatility. Georgia native Jordan Ellis, a 5-10, 216-pound running back, gives the Wahoos a different type of tailback than what's currently on their roster. And Evan Butts, a 6-4, 225-pound tight end from Newtown Square (Pa.) Episcopal Academy, earned an offer during camp this summer after showing his skills not just at tight end, but also as a long snapper. Rivals.com lists Ellis as a two-star prospect and rates Butts as a three-star talent and the No. 31 player in Pennsylvania. It's not all good news for London, though. UVa legacy Gary Wunderlich, the nation's top kicker, committed to the Cavaliers back in the spring but ultimately an offer from Ole Miss proved too much for the Nashville, Tenn., native to pass up. Moving forward, the future is bright. Virginia had all of its commits except for Farrar at its Sept. 7 game against No. 2-ranked Oregon. And the buzz of such highly rated players having picked the Cavaliers meant that the commits weren't alone in the stands at Scott Stadium. There were three uncommitted four-star players (wide receiver Jamil Kamara of Virginia Beach and defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi, the No. 2 recruit at this position nationally, also from Virginia Beach, and Ricky Walker of Hampton, Va., the No. 19 defensive tackle prospect in the land) in attendance from the 2014 class as well as a slew of top 2015 talents like four-star recruits Austin Clark, an offensive lineman from Lexington, Va.; Jahvoni Simmons, an inside linebacker from Virginia Beach; and Jalen Dalton, a defensive end from Clemmons, N.C. Many believe Kamara, a 6-1, 201-pound playmaker from Bishop Sullivan Catholic who ranks as the nation's No. 19 wide receiver, is likely to pick UVa. He's eyeing official visits this fall to Virginia, Pitt, Wisconsin, Vanderbilt and Miami. A good friend of Blanding and Andrew Brown's from the vaunted "757," Kamara is likely UVa's top overall prospect remaining on the board. ◆ 2014 Football Commitments (As of Sept. 16) Name Pos.
