"Louisville is coming off an extremely successful year for its athletics program, capped by winning the men's basketball NCAA championship. We will begin the competition against them as a crossover rival at a time when their program is really clicking. "Adding Syracuse, Pittsburgh and Notre Dame brings three high-quality overall programs to the ACC and raises the conference's competitive profile.
