GAME
AT A GLANCE
GOOD NEWS Anytime
there's an egg on the
scoreboard, it's a
good day for the defense. After allowing
more than 500 yards
last week, it was a really good day for Penn
State's D. The Lions
have now held Kent
State scoreless for 10
consecutive quarters,
dating back to 2003.
WIDE OPEN
SPACES
Belton gained
90 rushing
yards, including a long run
of 28 yards.
He also caught

pass.

THE TAKEAWAY As Bill
O'Brien so obviously
pointed out after the
game, Penn State is

that's what it did
Saturday. Onward
to Bloomington.
