basketball recruiting plane crash. "He loved it," Hargrave coach A.W. Hamilton said of Grantham's visit. "He thought it was great. He really hit it off with the coaching staff and the team, and absolutely loved the visit. They did a great job. Coach Beilein is a great coach and does a tremendous job. I think the world of him. Coach [Jeff] Meyer does a great job on that staff." Grantham would be a very good fit, Hamilton added. "Donte's a very skilled combo forward," he said. "The sky's the limit for that kid. The more I watch him, the more I love his game. He's a tremendous passer, very unselfish, knows how to play and is an unbelievable teammate. What I'd like to see him do is be more aggressive on the offensive end. He's a great shooter, a great passer and he really handles it." After Grantham, it gets interesting. Henderson (Nev.) Findlay Prep — by way of Australia — four-star small forward Jonah Bolden is a target as of this summer, and his father visited U‑M in early September. Word has it he, too, was very impressed. Bolden (6-8, 195, Rivals.com's No. 62 senior nationally), who is originally from Southeast Michigan, blew up this summer, and the Wolverines are in great shape with him. It remains to be seen if there will be room for him in this class, though. Bolden has to take a standardized test (SAT, ACT) before he can make official visits, and he won't do that until Oct. 5 — the day Sacramento (Calif.) Capital Christian small forward D.J. Wilson is slated to visit Michigan. Wilson (6-8, 205, Rivals.com's No. 135 overall player in the land) is much better than his ranking, an above-therim player who has been slowed by back injuries. Michigan and Gonzaga are the two in which he's most interested. Reportedly, not only is U-M his leader, but the Michigan coaches were really impressed when they saw him. Beilein has been in to watch Wilson, as has Meyer. We expect he could get an offer and very possibly commit should his Oct. 5 visit remain a go. By then, though, Grantham might have pledged, and we also think Portland Columbia Christian's Kameron Chatman could end his recruitment before then, as well, in favor of U‑M. Some on the West Coast who are connected tell us it's a Michigan-Arizona battle right now, but his U‑M visit for the Notre Dame football game remains vivid in Chatman's memory. Chatman has visited Oregon and saw USC the weekend of Sept. 20. He was slated to tour Arizona Sept. 27 on a big Wildcats recruiting weekend. He loves Arizona, but the Cats also have a number of highly ranked players they're recruiting at his position. If he makes it out of Tucson uncommitted, there's a solid chance he ends up a Wolverine. Guards Are Still On The Radar That brings us to the "smaller" players in the 2014 class. Michigan has been working on Moss Point (Miss.) standout shooting guard Devin Booker (6-6, Rivals.com's
