Ideally, Notre Dame would love to bring in two talented defensive tackles, so a combination of Elam and five-star defensive tackle Thomas Holley would be a great haul. The Brooklyn, N.Y., prospect put a hold on his recruitment to concentrate on playmakers on offense and Fresno, Calif., four-star wide receiver Michiah Quick could be a perfect fit in the Irish offense. A similar player to current Notre Dame wide receiver TJ Jones, the 6-0, 173-pound target has terrific speed, runs crisp routes and catches everything thrown his way. Alabama and Notre Dame continue to sit at the top for the 6-4, 238-pounder, and he will be on campus to watch the Irish face USC in October during his official visit.
