It is tied with Knute Rockne's 1927-30 Notre Dame teams for second-longest such winning streak at Notre Dame, and behind only the 12 from 1937-39 with head coach Elmer Layden. According to Norte Dame's media-relations office, it is also the longest active Football Bowl Subdivision streak and third-longest FBS streak since 1980. • This is the first time the Irish face Pitt with the Panthers as a member of the ACC. Including this year, Notre Dame will have met Pitt 59 of the last 71 years, with no gaps of more than three years. With the Irish's ACC schedules taking effect in 2014, Notre Dame's next meeting with the Panthers also will be at Pitt, in 2015. That year's Notre Dame ACC rotation will have two home games (Boston College and Georgia Tech), and three on the road (Clemson, Pitt and Virginia). Tickets also available for other nationwide events including MLB, NFL, Auto racing, NBA, all sports, concerts ✦ Page 12
