It's difficult to estimate how many recruits will visit. For the Michigan game, Penn State hosted up to 90 prospects. Because it's a day game that will take place in cold weather, it's unlikely Penn State matches that number on Saturday. But the Nittany Lions hosted about 50 prospects for the Purdue game, so 75 total recruits could be a realistic figure. Below is a list of the top 18 prospects whom Blue White Illustrated has confirmed will be in attendance. The talent that permeates this list is obvious. There will be four official visitors: junior college offensive lineman Kareem Are, defensive back Shawn Boone and juco defensive tackle Tarow Barney. Adam Friedman of Rivals.com confirmed the linebacker Melvin Keihn will be taking an official visit, too. BWI also expects the majority of the prospects who are already verbally commit- ted to PSU's Class of 2014 to be on hand. There are some solid visitors from the Class of 2015, too. Six prospects who BWI thinks could eventually earn a scholarship offer from PSU include: wide receiver Irvin Charles, tight end Chris Clark, wide receiver Jabari Greenwood, quarterback Nick Johns, offensive lineman Matthew Jones and running back Larry Scott. Linebacker Ricky DeBerry, offensive lineman Richie Petitbon and running back Andre Robinson – top 2015 targets – already hold offers from the Nittany Lions. Perhaps the underclassman with the most talent will be Class of 2016 defensive tackle RaShan Gary, a potential five-star. This will be his second visit to PSU after camping this past summer. Fellow defensive tackle Kyree Campbell has already made a name for himself, too. It's early, but he has four-star potential in BWI's opinion. This will be Penn State's biggest recruiting weekend until Junior Day, which will take place in late February or early March.
