THE UGLY GROUND BALL Only one team in the Big Ten has scored more points than Wisconsin, and most of the Badgers' points have come by way of a touchdown. They have the second-worst field goal unit in the Big Ten, converting only 67 percent of their attempts. DID YOU KNOW? Nov. 30 will mark the latest date that Wisconsin has ever hosted a home game. Before Saturday, Wisconsin's latest home game was 40-0 win over Northwestern on Nov. 29, 1891. The latest game ever played in Camp Randall Stadium? A 7-6 win over Michigan State on Nov. 28, 1918. The first-year head coach recently extended an open invitation to his entire team: Thanksgiving at the Andersens. Wisconsin perennially grows some of the largest linemen in the conference. Otherwise the Badgers might eat him poor on Thursday. His wife, Stacey, will cook the turkey, and probably carve it, too. "I would embarrass my father if I tried to carve a turkey," he joked.
