THE GAME AT A GLANCE GOOD NEWS Christian Hackenberg saved the most impressive performance of his freshman season for last. On the other side of the ball, Penn State's defense put forth one of its best efforts of 2013. Surrounded by reporters in the media room after the game, he couldn't precisely recall the yardage, the angles his pursuers had taken or how exactly he'd gotten into the end zone. Not only does it secure a 75 winning record, it also sends the seniors off with a victory. But perhaps the most encouraging aspect? Underclassmen carried the Lions to victory. All four touchdowns were scored by players who are expected to return next year.
