With the recent announcement that quarterbacks coach Charlie Fisher and linebackers coach Ron Vanderlinden would be leaving the coaching staff, the D E C E m b E r | bLUE WHITE ILLUSTrATED timing for this recruiting weekend couldn't have been better for Bill O'Brien and his remaining assistants to host their top prospects. That holds especially true for linebacker Troy Reeder, who not only expected to be coached by Vanderlinden, but also was recruited by him for the past two years. A native of Wilmington, Del., 1 1 , 2 0 1 3 1 Reeder made it clear throughout the past week that the personnel change wouldn't impact his decision, but the three-star prospect said it was reassuring to sit down with the current coaches and learn more about their upcoming plans for the linebackers.
