W RESTLIN G The man behind it all BJC dual exemplifies Cody Sanderson's impact at Penn State ccording to the university's count, the wrestlers packed the Bryce Jordan Center with more fans than the basketball team ever has. So it's only fitting to begin with a hoops metaphor. Penn State's BJC dual wasn't an overnight success story. It took nearly four years of meticulous preparation and back-and-forth discussion until it finally became a reality with the announcement in August. Throughout the entire process, Cody Sanderson played the point. The associate head coach led the charge on nearly every single detail of the historic event – from the scheduling, to the marketing, all the way down to the pre-planned warm-ups at the Lorenzo Wrestling Complex, weighins at Rec Hall, and the vans to escort his starting lineup a mile across campus just in time for the 2 o'clock meet. A POINT MAN Cody is Cael Sanderson's older brother and associate head coach. Cody was mostly responsible for organizing the Lions' dual meet in the BJC. Steve Manuel
