Maybe not in this cycle, but in the future. "I guarantee you," he said. That doesn't mean he's shuffling the Class of 2014 to the side, though. "There are still some scholarships available," Franklin said, "and we want to make sure we maximize them. " He and the members of his newly established coaching staff have had their GESICKI boots on the ground in high schools across the country. They convinced three new prospects who were committed to Vanderbilt to flip to the Nittany Lions and checked in on some top prospects who were already committed to Penn State. One of the commitments they were looking to solidify was that of tight end Mike Gesicki, whom Franklin visited for a basketball game on Jan. 18. He later visited with the family at their home. As of this writing, Gesicki looked to be the only prospect in limbo. Franklin and his staff were on the trail of some new names, too. Koa Farmer, a 6-foot-2, 207-pound athlete from Sherman Oaks, Calif., who is committed to Cal, picked up a Penn State offer just a couple of days after Franklin
