Stevenson High's Jalen Brunson (6-0, 175,'s No. 28 player nationally in the 2015 class), La Porte (Ind.) La Lumiere High's Jalen Coleman (6-3, 180, the No. 34 player in the class) and Franklin (Ohio) High's Luke Kennard (6-5, 180, No. 16 junior nationally). Others have been on the target list for a while, and still more are emerging. The Wolverines have been drawing more and more in- terest from top-level recruits as a result of their winning ways and style of play. Rockwall (Texas) High shooting guard Austin Grandstaff (6-5, 180), one of the standouts for a loaded Team Texas AAU squad, is the lat- est to list U-M. Grandstaff,'s No. 32 overall prospect nationally, com- mitted to Oklahoma State over the summer before opening his recruit- ment in early February. An out- standing shooter and passer with a high basketball IQ, he's averaging 26 points per game after putting up 36, 30 and 25 in his last three out- ings as of Feb. 10. " T h e l a s t t h re e g a m e s w e re against three of the tougher teams in our district. They were very athletic," said Team Texas direc- tor Wes Grandstaff, Austin's father. "Longview had a wide receiver headed to Texas guarding him, but he scored 30 on them with seven assists and eight rebounds against good competition."
