  INSIDE MICHIGAN ATHLETICS Michigan women's water polo sophomore driver Presely Pender is off to a great start in 2014, leading the team in points with 18. She had five goals and an impressive 13 assists on the year, through Feb. 16. Nickname: "My teammates call me Aloha, because I love the beach and the sun. I'm from California, so I guess it stems from that. They also call me Pres or Penny." Favorite Restaurant In Ann Arbor: "The Chop House." Best Meal She Can Cook By Herself: "I can make quinoa- fried rice. I just learned how to make it from a Pinterest recipe, and it was really good." Favorite Class At Michigan: "American Culture 209. It was the history of American pop music, basically Elvis through to the Beatles to now. It was really interesting." Other Sports She Enjoys Playing: "I play beach volleyball, which is really fun. I play tennis with my mom a lot. I like to surf a lot, which is something I can't do out here, but it's fun when I'm back home." Hobbies: "I love to go to the beach and spend time with my family and friends. In Ann Arbor, I love to just walk around and explore all the cool things it has to offer. I really like to be active, so anything I can do outside is good." Her Favorite TV Show: "'The Bachelor.' It's my guilty pleasure. It's something I have always watched, and I love it." Her Favorite Movie: "'Walk The Line,' the movie about Johnny Cash with Joaquin Phoenix." Her Dream Vacation: "I would have to say Costa Rica. I have been before, and I loved it so much.
